What is Atman Unleashed
Underneath the physical body, the emotions, and the intellect, is an unchanging, eternal brightness inside of us all; the Atman. At its essence, your Atman is your purest self. Atman Unleashed is a project aimed at providing avenues to bring the truest self to the surface. As a society, we are putting more and more importance into what we do, what we own, or what we look like at the expense of how we feel and experience life.
While I believe we all have this light at our core, the choices we make on a daily basis can keep it covered. My hope is that by sharing my experiences and knowledge of nutrition, yoga, exercise, mindfulness and meditation, others will be able to improve their relationship with their physical bodies and thoughts to let the light shine a little brighter.
An integrative approach to nutrition and wellness means looking at all aspects of life when considering changes to the way you eat and move about your day. This includes your current “diet” (when you eat, how you eat, where you eat, why you eat), but also your own personal and familial health history, typical daily activities, stress levels, quantity and quality of sleep, lifestyle and the way you move your body.
About Me
My name is Chelsea. I was born and raised in Texas, went to college in Pittsburgh, moved to Northern Virginia, then San Francisco, and now reside in Colorado to be closer to family. Through all the different places I have lived, one constant has been my fascination with the human experience. And my desire to never stop learning more about it!
I studied biology and chemistry in college, then completed a 200 hour yoga training and got my MS in integrative clinical nutrition. Immediately following that, I went through the life-changing process of having two children. What followed was a shadow period, as I struggled to adjust to a very different life that I had not expected. Having emerged from the shadows, I’ve discovered a whole new appreciation for how big of an impact your choices make on your lived experience. Like every human out there, I have my own story and struggles; now I am sharing them with you!
