About Atman Unleashed:

Underneath the physical body, the emotions, and the intellect, is an unchanging, eternal brightness inside of us all; the Atman. At its essence, your Atman is your purest self. Atman Unleashed is a project aimed at providing avenues to bring the truest self to the surface. There will always be difficulties in life, but we have a choice in how we respond. My hope is that by sharing my experiences and knowledge of yoga, nutrition, and meditation, others will be able to improve their relationship with their physical bodies and thoughts and start to delve deeper into what it really means to be themselves. As a society, we are putting more and more importance into how we look and what we own at the expense of how we feel and experience life. I aim to shift perspective from “I am eating this/doing this exercise so I can be thin” to “I am eating this/doing this exercise because it feels good in my body and when my body feels good I can better experience the awesomeness that is my mind and soul”.

About Me:

My name is Chelsea. I was born and raised in Tomball, Texas, went to college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, moved to Arlington, Virginia, and dream of one day moving to the west coast (and convincing family to move nearby).

But who am I? What does it MEAN to be me?

To put myself into a box: I am an introvert; while I enjoy people, I need time to myself to fully refresh.  I have been compared to a Care Bear, because I try my hardest to make people around me happy. I currently teach yoga at JourneYoga in Arlington, VA and I am back in school for my Master’s in Nutrition at Maryland University of Integrative Health. Like every human out there, I have my own story and struggles; now I am sharing them with you!
